History (at least three paragraphs): Matt Murdock led a fairly normal childhood--up to the point where he was blinded and gained his other senses. After that point, he was taught martial arts by the old man Stick.
When his father is killed by mobsters, Murdock learns that while his father was pushing Murdock to get good grades, HE was out breaking fingers for the mob. This sets Murdock on the path to becoming Daredevil, after he finds and brutalizes (Some say he killed) the men who killed his father. He gets himself under control, and sets to cleaning up Hell's Kitchen.
This brings him into immediate conflict with Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, who controls most of the crime in Hell's Kitchen. Wilson Fisk reacted exactly as one would expect a crimelord to react to a vigilante. He tried to kill him.
Employing Bullseye, Fisk sets out to destroy Murdock. Bullseye fails to kill Daredevil, but does kill his first love, triggering the decades long battle between the two. Bullseye is the character who most tests Murdock's resolve not to kill, having ended the lives of multiple Daredevil/Murdock love interests.
In recent times, Matt has been outed to the media as Daredevil by Wilson Fisk, but nothing has been proven yet. This makes it harder for Daredevil to actively work against crime, at the risk of letting everyone Matt Murdock has ever put in jail out.
What is he/she doing now: Daredevil has just rejected an offer from Captain America to join the avengers, on the grounds that his possibly being revealed as Matt Murdock puts all of them in the line of fire.
Relationship with other characters: Reluctant--he's usually willing to help out, but isn't very quick to make friends.
Special feelings toward other characters: He tries to keep them to a minimum, but he has had relationships with the Black Widow, Typhoid Mary, and Elektra.
How he/she reacts to other characters: Cautiously.
How other characters react toward him/her: Cautiously. He is an enigma wrapped in a riddle, after all.

RP Sample:
Bullseye staggers back into the wall, stunned. Before he can pull a card or a gun or a knife I grab him and hurl him into the coffee table. The table shatters under his weight, legs folding in like toothpicks, and I feel an instant of incongruous regret. It had been such a nice coffee table. But the trick to fighting Bullseye is to never let up, never stop, not even for a second. If you give him a chance to get something in his hands you risk being impaled by it.
He's laughing even as I pound him--this is all just a game to him, it always has been. Hey folks, let's all play "Kill Murdocks's Girlfriend"! Fury bubbles in my throat, hot gall. I should kill him. I really should. He deserves it more than anyone I've ever met, and if I kill him, here and now, he never get's a chance to harm someone I love again. With each impact of my fist a face flashes into memory...
He's stopped laughing. He realizes I'm probably thinking about killing him, about ending his miserable existence here and now. But he's still grinning savagely, because he's insane. He's an animal. He's a mad beast, and he should be put down like one, and it takes all my willpower to keep from doing it. I know he's grinning, because I can feel his teeth and lips under my hands as I grab his face.
I slam his head into the ground, hard, over and over, trying to knock him out, and my hand slips up to his forehead. There's something there.
"What's this?" I snarl. I feel more carefully, squeezing his throat with my other hand to hold him still. It's three circles, crossed with a pair of lines. A bullseye.
"What the heck is this? Your logo? Your super cool bad guy logo?" for some wholly unintelligible reason, the mark on his head that he probably carved himself infuriates me more. "I'll give you a logo." I snarl, and grab a piece of shattered coffee table from the floor.
