Stone drove, way over the speed limit. He had just broken into the Avenger's base and stolen valuable information from them. Well, really it was just a guest book, he also still had the data card, if it were possible to undo the damage done by the trojan horse virus then it would be valuable to his employer. Of coarse, who was his boss? He didn't know, they hadn't given out their names, only the assignment. Then the other thing, what was he getting out of it? Sure, money, but, with all he had spent attacking the mansion, he would use most of the reward on replenishing his stock.
His right shoulder hurt, so did his left leg and he was glad he wasn't using it to drive. He reached the street he had found himself on, just a few days ago, for the first time. When he had first gotten there he had met a young man with interesting abilities. He shook it off and stopped outside the house.
"Were here," Ben said unnecessarily. He got out himself and put all the codes for the locks in. He left his guns in the car, except for his trusty Dessert Eagles. He also had several guns stashed in the house. He limped slowly towards the house not sure if anyone was there or not. "What do you think? We got their records book, and if there happens to be a genius on this team all their files." He said holding the book and data holder in each hand. His black over coat seemed heavier then usual.
He reached the front door first and opened it, he had been taught growing up all about chivalry and holding the door for ladies, but his leg hurt like none other and he needed to get to the coach and he was sure Trisha was feeling the same. A point blank repulsar from Iron Man and being awake right now astonished Ben, but, then again, she had powers he didn't even know about. Which, he thought had been one of the reasons this mission and probably the other two missions didn't go according to plan, that's what he guessed anyway.
He entered the door and hung his coat on one of the six identical hangers. He walked towards the kitchen and grabbed a few bags of ice. He hobbled back to the couch and sat down. He took two bags for himself and offered the other to Trisha.
The house appeared empty and it probably was, there were no other cars in the road. He thought he heard someone pull up, but after the noise and stress he had put his body through it could have been anything.

It’s was embarrassing for Trisha. She was given an assignment with Stone to invade the Avenger’s home and steal needed information. It seemed simpler than it was. The first half of the mission went well, or so Trisha thought. However after trying to escape the Avengers and coming face to face with Iron man left Trisha unconscious. Stone had to be the one to pull her out of there, safely. He could’ve easily just left her behind in the dust but he didn’t. She was a grateful for it and judged him wrong. She figure the minute she woke up she would’ve still been in the Avenger’s mansion. Instead she was in the passenger side seat of the care Stone was driving. Going literally a hundred miles per hour.
Her whole body felt sore and her shoulder throbbed. She leaned forward opening the glove box and shuffling through it. She was looking for some kind of bandages for her shoulder but it was no use, none were found. She flew back in the seat and fumbled for the seat adjusted so she could lie down in the seat. After a few minutes the car came to a halt and she watched as Stone got out of the car. She gingerly sat up and pushed the car door up stepping out herself.
"Were here,"
She didn’t reply with a smart ass comment or with something rude. She didn’t care to make a point of it. In fact, she really didn’t feel like doing anything. She was exhausted and just wanted to get inside where it was safe and sit down. She took her coat off, throwing it, as it landed on the back of one of the chairs near her. She didn’t take the time to hang it on the coat rack like Stone. If anyone had a major problem with it, they could hang the coat up themselves.
She hobbled her way into the bathroom. She had to look at herself in the mirror and see what damages was made. Also, to wash her face. Her whole body felt dirty and sweaty. She knew she needed a shower but she was too sore and tired to even attempt one.
She examined her face in the mirror. It was dirty, grungy, and the left side of her face was red. It must’ve been exactly where Iron’s Man’s repulsor’s had hit her. She wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if her whole face would be bruised the next morning. She turned on the bathroom faucet and waited a bit until it got to the right temperature and washed her face. She felt a lot better doing it, she felt slightly refreshed. She then fumbled in one of the cabinets and stole the bandages out of it. Sliding her shirt off she carefully put the needed bandages on her shoulder and quickly put her shirt back on.
She hobbled out of the bathroom and seated herself on the couch. She watched as Stone also hobbled along and sat down next to her on the couch, offering her an ice pack. She gladly accepted the gift and placed it on her shoulder. They were the only two in the house. No words were being passed between the two so it left the house very quiet. Too quiet. She decided to break the silence.
“Thank You…”

Last night could have gone far worse than it did, she was alive and for the most part unscathed the worst thing that had happened to her is ruining her shoes and the lower half of her jeans when she ignited her calves and feet to jump to another roof top. There was also no denying the fact that it could have gone much better. She had lost her partner and couldn't find him after the fiasco was over and he hadn't responded any of the times she had used her radio to contact him. She eventually gave up assuming he lost his when he went through his metamorphosis. On top of losing a comrade she had only gotten 97% of the data before the "Ignoramus Torch" had blown the computer to smithereens. Not only that she had to dump her car so that the Fantastic Four wouldn't be able to figure out who she was or follow the car to the mansion. For extra precaution she hadn't returned till the mansion that night and had spent the night at some semi-fancy hotel. She had learned that the first place people look for someone on the run is the run down, doesn't ask any questions sort of place.
Tina was on here way back home in a new set of cloths that she had picked up to replace the filthy and ruined clothes she had the other night. She was wearing a nice gray pinstripe suit and a pair of black flats. Tina had managed to get a taxi ride most of the way there and walked the last half mile, luckily today was somewhat cool and breezy so the suit didn't cause to get all sweaty and nasty like it would have otherwise. She was approaching the mansion when she saw Stone's car. She didn't see any signs that the other group had returned, but they could have returned by foot too. By the time she had gotten to the door she had realized that she was starving. Tina hadn't ate since last night and it was already well into the day. Entering the house, she saw Stone and Trisha in a sorry state.
"What did you two do, go up against the Avengers mano-e-mano? Don't you know there are more of them than there are us? ...Anyways whose hungry? I haven't eaten since last night, so I'm going to fix me something to eat and I can fix you something too if you want."

They sat in silence for a long while before is was broken.
"Thank you." Trisha said. She dropped off and Ben took that as his cue to speak up.
"Welcome." He said gruffly. He cleared his throat and went on. "My fault anyway, if I hadn't alerted them we would have gotten in and out a lot easier." He shook the thought off he had been taught in the military to not let anything hang over you. They were both alive and that is what mattered. "You okay? Anything broken?" He asked, genuinely concerned. If they needed to get to the hospital they needed to do it now, before the Avenger's could get information out on them.
That night had passed and Stone spent it on the couch. He assumed Trisha had done the same as she had still been there when he fell asleep and was there when he woke up around eight o'clock. He looked down at his right shoulder and left knee. The bags of ice were still cool up the ice was completely gone and water had replaced soaking into his shirt and pants.
He got up quickly, perhaps too quickly, the room around him swirled a little and he steadied himself. He looked down at his knee, it was twice the size of the other, hot, and red. He walked into the kitchen and limped over to the freezer. He pulled out two more bags of ice and replaced them with the old ones.
He tried his best to walk back to the couch in his normal gait but failed miserably and hobbled the last five steps and collapsed onto the couch again. No sooner had he sat down then the door creaked open. He reached instinctively for his gun and had it out before the door closed.
He aimed but then lowed his gun when he realized who it was in the sight. Tina walked in and all together she didn't look terribly bad.
"What did you two do, go up against the Avengers mano-e-mano? Don't you know there are more of them than there are us? ...Anyways whose hungry? I haven't eaten since last night, so I'm going to fix me something to eat and I can fix you something too if you want." Tina said. Ben chuckled slightly then stopped, for the pain in his shoulder had increased considerably.
"Well, to be quite honest, yeah we did. What about you? Looks like you didn't have too rough of a time? Fantastic Four not as good as they all say, huh?" He said wish a small smile. "Starving, the only thing we've had since we got back is ice. It would be great if you could fix me something." Stone said gratefully.

If someone was to ask her where her partner was she wouldn't be able to answer... Larisa had no idea where Thomas Cain was, and at the moment she really didn't care. He had been too concentrated on revenge against one of the past X-Men, than their actually mission. It was still a mystery to her how she was able to get the information needed and get out without any major problems.
Walking down the street slowly, she tried to remember how she got there in the first place. Why couldn't she remember? Letting out a groan she reached up and gripped her throbbing head, trying to lessen the pain somehow. Having never retained so much information at once using her powers, she was now paying the price as it was hard to concentrate on anything else other than the names of mutants running through her head.
Larisa's feet stumbled from under her, even though she wasn't wearing high heels, unsure of which way to continue in to make her way home. "Warren Worthington... Raven Darkholme..." She muttered random names that popped up painfully into her mind as she crossed the street slowly. Not paying attention to what she was doing she walked up to a house before her vision began to blur. Trisha... Her sister was there, she could feel it. Larisa had somehow found her way home despite the numbing pain coursing through her mind, as if someone had taken a jackhammer to it.
If Larisa hadn't taken the information she would be in perfect physical condition, but now... Now she wondering if she had screwed herself up by doing so. She's never experienced anything like this while using her telepathy before. Yet, reading people's minds came rather natural, where as reading that of a mind of a machine was something completely new to her. The worse part was that she didn't even get all the names before she had to make a run for it... Larisa always knew there were more mutants in the world then what was admitted, but the reality of the numbers surprised her.
Standing in front of the house, on the lawn, she attempted to move her feet but her mind wouldn't allow it. Darkness was starting to close in on her vision."Allison Haynes... Peitro Maximoff..." Her legs gave out from under her, causing her to fall onto the grass as her mind began to shut off to give her brain sometime to find a way to store all this new found information.
