It was a bright day.
Unfortunately, the gargantuan man did not have time right now to go outside and play with the other nice boys and girls, no. The newly-legal-drinking-age Irishman had to stay inside and study for his upcoming major English exam. This was terrible.
Oh well, all sacrifices were rewarded. Kael always had been a believe in Karma. One day he would teach a group of High school kids and bring new ideas into their lives, teach them about literature and it's influence on the World. Yea, that would be a life well-spent.
Right now, however, he had some studying to do. He needed to memorize these dates before tomorrow, and then rehearse in his head what he would write for the essay. His lenient professor had been nice enough to at least tell them what the essay topic was ahead of time.
Kael was glad for that.
As soon as he was getting somewhere, he got a feeling. One that usually was followed by...
"Yo! Kael!" It was his roommate, Caleb. Caleb had a bad habit of perpetually recovering from the 'wicked' night before. Kael could appreciate that the man could drink his weight and still stand, but he didn't like his abusing of drugs and unholy lecherousness.
"What, for God's sake?" Kael spun around in his desk chair as his roommate burst through the door, a 32-pack of beer in his hands. It was Bud light, no less. Kael spoke before Caleb could even set it down.
"Share or get the hell out, I've studyin' ta do." He smirked, knowing that Caleb would choose the former option. Caleb smiled as he busted the case open.
"Don't take too many, I need to contribute to the party tonight, the frat guys are starting to get mad that I'm moochin' on all their parties." Caleb, of course, wasn't a fraternity member.
"What the hell ever..." Kael grabbed a beer and spun back around, twisting it off. He didn't exactly love Bud light, but it would do.
"Get Guinness next time, would ya?" Kael could demand these things, he was the reason Caleb was passing one or two of his classes.
Of course, Caleb got a phone call that required his presence elsewhere. Kael was left alone with a 32-pack of Bud Light and studying to do.
Now he was in a decent working environment.
